Please note: using Sidecar requires you to have access to an iPad that is both compatible with Sidecar, and is logged into your Apple ID. Apple currently does not allow the use of Sidecar on a Mac that is not logged into the same Apple ID as your iPad.

Sidecar

Sidecar is a functionality introduced by Apple in iPadOS 13 and MacOS Catalina. It allows you to use your iPad as a secondary display for a Mac, and if you have an Apple Pencil, allows you to use the Pencil as an input device, allowing for annotations and other tablet input.

To enable Sidecar, you must first login to the Mac Mini with the same Apple ID associated with your iPad, and enable iCloud.
